A busy fall this year, Alex is almost 8. first year wrestling, second year of trail life. Naomi(2) is putting more and more words together. lots to do around the house. Looking forward to Daniel Boone. Some dads are asking me to teach them backpacking. Building Alex a website. Looking at GIS as a Masters/second half career. Sent the title for the Jeep, donating to Habitat for Humanity, glad to close the chapter on that one. Never buy a Chrysler.
Woke up early and cooked bacon and eggs, Picking up our meat from Shererwood today. Might to go Malabar first.
We all went to church today at WCC. The sermon series has been on James. Nice and cool fall day, gentle breeze. Church Fall Fest later. Daniel Boone campout next weekend. getting packed. Listening to Great Expectations. Watched Coyote Peterson with Alex
Took the day off work to get ready for DB. Marinated some meat for Jerky, the butcher who cut our 1/4 cow cut my top round into strips for such a purpose, big time saver. The meat was ready convenient DB this year. Packing as light as possible this year. Had brunch with Naomi at First Watch, a good daddy daughter date.
